HGS offers a number of sports activities to build a healthy future citizen. Sports education aims to provide children with authentic and enjoyable sports experience. It always complements academic learning as it develops the overall personality of the students greatly. HGS has teamed up with leading Sports Education Company. We help our students as follows:.

Circket

Cricket is a team sport which provides children and young people with a variety of skills needed to develop a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. It is fun, inclusive, and the sport provides a wealth of opportunities to take part.

Table Tennis

Table tennis is a game played inside by two or four people. The players stand at each end of a table which has a low net across the middle and hit a small light ball over the net, using small bats. Table tennis helps you build strength, speed, and agility without risking serious injury. There a millions of serious sports-related injuries every year in the United States.

Badminton

Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are “singles” (with one player per side) and “doubles” (with two players per side).While you’re lunging, diving, running and getting your heart pumping, playing a game of badminton can help you burn around 450 calories an hour

Valleyball

 Volleyball is a team sport in which players use their hands or arms to knock a ball over a net. Two teams, usually with six players each, compete in a volleyball game. Volleyball is a game of skill involving teams passing a ball over the net without the ball touching the ground or going out of bounds

Basketball

Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players each on a rectangular court, usually indoors. Each team tries to score by tossing the ball through the opponent’s goal, an elevated horizontal hoop and net called a basket.. It is a fast-paced sport played between two teams. To score points, players shoot a ball through high hoops, which are located at either end of the court.

Athletics

Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The value of athletics in schools is significant and cannot be overlooked. It has a profound impact on individuals, schools, and communities. Athletics is powerful because it can bridge gaps, bring people who otherwise might not interact together.

Football

Football is a team sport in which two teams play against each other to score their spherical ball in the other opponents net (what we call a ‘goal’). Both teams usually have 11 players in different positions on the pitch. Each positions main aim is to keep the opposing team from scoring a goal in their net. It’s a strategic game and requires tenacity and skill. Players also tackle and battle to get the ball from opposing teams to overall try and score a goal for themselves.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo (also known as Tae Kwon Do) is the art of self defense that originated in Korea. It is recognized as one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world, reaching back over 2,000 years. The name was selected for its appropriate description of the art: Tae  (foot), Kwon  (hand), Do  (art).

Chess

chess, one of the oldest and most popular board games, played by two opponents on a checkered board with specially designed pieces of contrasting colours, commonly white and black. White moves first, after which the players alternate turns in accordance with fixed rules, each player attempting to force the opponent’s principal piece, the King, into checkmate—a position where it is unable to avoid capture.
